There can hardly be greater praise when it comes to fit. And the Orbit touring boot is no exception. The 103.5 mm last width is an unmistakable sign of comfort. But that's by no means all there is to the superb fit, great comfort and, above all, walking comfort.</p><p>The inner boot can be thermally adjusted if required. The innovative 2-buckle/strap system is quick and easy to secure the foot in the boot. With 60° shaft mobility when walking, the climbing aid is rarely used and the annoying opening of the upper shaft buckle is largely a thing of the past. At just over 1200 grams per boot, the Orbit is comfortably light and doesn't weigh you down on long routes. The tech inserts are Dynafit® certified and compatible with almost all pin bindings.</p><p>The Vibram® sole impresses on walking passages, for example for the last few meters to the summit with excellent grip.</p><p>But the touring boot also knows how to impress on the descent. With a flex index of 110 and a slightly higher shaft, the Scott Orbit delivers solid downhill performance with a power transmission that is usually reserved for three- and four-buckle boots.
