<p>Mountain cycling is booming and is becoming even more popular, not least thanks to e-bikes. This makes it all the more important that cycling is made from a safe, competent and considerate sport. Sustainable cycling in the mountains requires capable athletes who are able to take the many dimensions of mountain biking into account. The »Alpine Curriculum 7: Mountain Biking« provides the necessary know-how for exciting but also safe bike tours. This methodical-didactic part of the curriculum is aimed at MTB riding technique trainers and cycling guides. The content is also relevant for privately led or informal MTB groups. As part of the redesign of the DAV's MTB training program, this new edition of the alpine curriculum has been completely revised in the chapters on teaching riding technique and leading and guiding mountain bike groups. The areas of nature, environment and sustainability, group processes, risk management, motor learning, movement observation and assessment and much more have also been revised and expanded.<br><br>The »Alpine mountain biking curriculum« with the German Alpine Club as publisher has been unique in terms of content in the German-speaking world since 2006. It is a standard work in cycling technique trainer and bike guide training.
