Description

The women's Kento Mountain High GTX are fully crampon-compatible and excellently insulated alpine mountain boots for mountaineering and ice climbing. The technical, robust footwear is amazingly light and guarantees excellent protection against moisture and extreme cold. In addition, the very high-closing high mountain boot is of course also perfectly prepared for steep terrain.

The new development relies on very high-quality, sustainably processed leather made from Germany. In combination with the uncompromising scaffold protection reinforcement, the alpine boot has the robustness you expect from it for use far above the tree line. The robust leather is complemented perfectly by the waterproof, breathable and highly insulating Gore-Tex® lining. The high shaft offers excellent stability and optimum protection, while details such as the padded cuff cut lower at the back and the articulated zone with flexible tongue insert provide the necessary mobility. The 3D Memo Foam padding on the inside of the upper adapts to your individual foot shape - the best requirements for excellent comfort over the long term.
The shoe can be perfectly adjusted in detail thanks to the true two-zone lacing, which is pulled far forward and allows separate adjustments using a clamp, and also provides stable security on climbing passages.

The shoe can be adjusted in detail and also provides stable security on climbing passages.

The compactly cushioned, very firm and edge-stable sole rolls very excellently and has an extremely non-slip Vibram® Hexa Tech tread sole. In category D, the sole is of course perfectly compatible with your automatic crampons.
