The system not only allows quick, easy adjustment with a twist, but also ensures even pressure distribution and increased comfort during long routes. The upper material made from technical polyester and microfibers, combined with the PFC-free Gore-Tex&reg; Performance Comfort membrane, offers excellent protection against snow and mud. The Michelin&reg; Wild XT sole, made with bio-based materials, guarantees optimum traction on slippery surfaces. In addition, the Ortholite&reg; O-Therm&trade; insole provides excellent thermal insulation from below, while the TPU-reinforced heel and toe caps offer stability and protection. <p>A must-have for winter mountain routes and snowshoe hikes.
