Description

If you want to go high, the Verglas 40 backpack from Exped is a great companion. With its sleek design and well-chosen features, it is ready for any alpine climbing. Ergonomically, the backpack is adapted to the female anatomy.

At the same time, it is lightweight without sacrificing durability. The material is resilient and has a water column of 2,500 mm, which means it is almost waterproof. The minimalist lid with carabiner closure and the side zip for direct access to the main compartment (there is an internal mesh pocket directly on the zip) is very nicely designed.

Of course, you can attach your ice tools, poles and other equipment to the outside of the Verglas 40 backpack via the daisy chains. The carrying system with the thermoformed back panel places the centre of gravity compactly close to you, the hip belt can be removed if required and the weight of the Verglas is reduced to 795g.
