Crest 8 AP Ski Touring Binding

<p>With the ATK Bindings Crest 8 touring binding, even long ascents are a lot of fun. The all-round touring binding made from high-quality 7075 aluminum impresses with its low weight and great comfort on the ascent and safety on the descent. <p>With its maximum Z-value of 8, the binding is ideal for beginners and lighter ski tourers. The monolink toe piece saves weight and the Easy Entry System, a defined stop for the tip of the boot on the locking lever, makes entry much easier, even in difficult conditions in soft, deeper snow. The climbing aid can be easily positioned with the ski pole in three positions for effortless ascent: flat, +36 mm, +50 mm. In terms of safety, the binding scores points with variably adjustable vertical and horizontal release on the rear jaw. The rear jaw has been revised in the AP version. The stopper is locked by means of a rotating mechanism</p> <p>An integrated glide plate improves power transmission and keeps the release values constant during side release. The length of the binding can be adjusted by 20 mm to suit different sole lengths. A ski brake is included. Different stopper widths enable optimum adjustment to different skis. According to ATK Bindings' recommendation, the Crest 8 touring binding performs best on skis with a center width between 75 and 100 mm and a ski weight between approx. 800-1,500 g/piece.
